  • Prenatal Substance Exposure Workshop for Parents November 06, 2025

This evidence-based, trauma-informed workshop helps parents recognize the signs and symptoms of prenatal substance exposure and trains them on techniques that work best with kids exposed prenatally to alcohol and drugs. Each 90 minute session is held on Zoom and includes facilitated discussion with other caregivers working with these children. We are able to offer this workshop free through the support of the Jockey Being Family®Foundation.

    Learning Objectives:

    3. Understand the five keys to support family success.
    4. Learn a 3-step approach with strategies to support your child.
    5. Apply knowledge of symptoms and strategies to address issues in children of various age levels.

    Workshop Dates:
All Sessions begin at 7 pm Eastern Time Zone.

    Seating is limited.

  • Explore Open Adoption Webinar November 13, 2025

The webinar is a great way to learn more about Adoptions From The Hearts Open Adoption Program which places infants directly from the hospital.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Adoptions From The Heart is ONLY accepting applicants who are open to adopting children of all racial backgrounds and heritages. In addition, because we are an open adoption agency and are seeing an increase in the requested number of yearly visits, all prospective adoptive parents must also be open to a minimum of 2 visits a year with the childs birth parents and there is often direct communication with birth parents, via text/phone and email post placement.

As we are a private agency and do not receive federal and state grants, there are fees that prospective adoptive families pay for services. AFTH does offer connections with grant and finance coaching options; if you would like more information on these fees and services before attending the webinar, please email adoption@afth.org with your city and state and we will connect you to your local office for fee information.
