Dr. Aronson is a pediatrician and child and adolescent psychiatrist and provides therapy for children and adolescents and also offers parent counseling. She provides psychiatric intakes and offers therapy for children, adolescents and parents.
Dr Aronson specializes in adoption medicine and helps families and children with the daily aspects of life. She is skilled in managing: Educational and behavioral challenges such as ADHD, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and
gender identity issues. She has spent 39 years counseling families about adoption identity. She also offers pre- adoption sessions for people in the process of adopting children domestically and internationally, and reviews pre-adoption referrals and post-adoption services. Dr. Aronson also works with parents of pre- and post- adoptive families and has focused on adoption identity.

From 1997-2019 Dr Aronson was CEO of the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, which is a not-for profit foundation that provided medical and developmental support for orphaned children in 20 plus countries. She is currently on the faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Cornell Weill Medicine. She also did a two-year child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Children’s Hospital 2022-2024.
