Dr. Aronson is a pediatric medicine specialist and counsels kids and families affected by trauma. She has spent the majority of her career serving children and families living with HIV/AIDS in the US and abroad and she has helped thousands of families adopt children from the US and abroad. She works with families with kids who may have special needs/complex behavioral challenges which include: Educational challenges, ADHD, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Gender transition. She has spent 35 years counseling families adoption identity. She mentors foster families in domestic and global settings and helps governments abroad de-institutionalized. Also offers primer sessions to decide on where to adopt, pre-adoption referral reviews and post-adoption services.

I have been in practice since 1986 and for 22 years the CEO of a not-for profit foundation that provided medical and developmental support for orphaned children in 20 countries. Currently on the faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia, Cornell, Mt. Sinai and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
