A program has been designed to help support foster kids going to college. Ashley Pierre, 20, says her life changed when she was placed in the foster care system in the eighth grade. She says although her situation at home changed, her desire to go to college did not. The Administration of Child Services says the College Choice program is designed for students who are aging out of the foster care system and need support in their journey through college.
