NJ: Paterson City Council Declares April as “Child Abuse Prevention Month”

The Paterson City Council has approved a resolution declaring April as “Child Abuse Prevention Month” in the City of Paterson. Since its creation by Presidential Proclamation in 1983, National Child Abuse Prevention Month has been an annual reminder to renew the commitment to meet the challenges that abuse and neglect can pose to the welfare of our children and families.
