The tools in this book are most effective with children from toddlers to the onset of puberty (approximately twelve years old). Once puberty hits, the child’s focus becomes one of becoming independent, firming up their own belief systems. It is a time of separation rather than a time of connecting. This book is about the human connection. The success rate is low for teenagers unless the teen is asking for help. Healing a teen is NOT a hopeless situation once puberty has begun. There is always hope and an opportunity to save a child as long as they are breathing!
