The Levins are a family, and Joshua and Eric, who are eleven and ten, are adopted brother.  Both of them are Korean-born, though they are proud of being American citizens.

Most of the time Eric and Joshua don’t think about being Korean.  They are too busy with schoolwork, sports and hobbies.  But occasionally they feel different from other kids.  They know they don’t look like Western boys or like their parents, and sometimes they wonder about their biological mothers.  They ask questions to which there are no easy answers.
