Waiting for May
A mother who is waiting with her family in America to adopt a little girl from China wrote this story during the waiting period. The family waited for over two years for their baby girl and their other children had many questions. Even without a picture of the new baby, the family thought about, talked about, asked about the baby.
When everyone met the baby at the airport for the first time, they immediately fell in love with her. Says the author, “The heart of the story is a truth I was happy to learn: love doesn’t need a reminder to show up, and is often there before you even see it coming.” (CHINA)
