A Healthy Alternative to the Dark Side of Youth Sports Today

Aren’t youth sports supposed to be about having fun? Yes, but today youth sports are much more than fun. They have become part of a big business, and the sheer numbers of young American involved (at least twenty million children between five and thirteen participate in organized sports programs) give us pause to consider. Why are youth sports programs so popular, and what effect are they having on our children?
