This story is about a little girl who needed a mommy and a forgotten blanket that needed a little girl and a woman who needed them both.
“The Red Blanket” tells the story of a single woman who goes to China to adopt a baby. When new mother and child leave the orphanage, everything is new and different, unfamiliar. The baby cries and cries until she is covered in the red blanket. The soft new red blanket becomes her transitional object and she carries it with her everywhere.
