Every Child Deserves A Champion
Bob Danzig learned first-hand the unique impact champions have on children (those of a young age and the child within all of us.) Having grown up in the foster care system, Bob felt his first sense of self-worth when the foster care professional placing him in his fifth foster home told him, “You are worthwhile.” These words became a tattoo on his spirit, and remained with him his entire life–from the first day he walked into the Albany Times Union as a young teenage office boy, to the day he became publisher of that same paper, and then ultimately the nationwide CEO of the Hearst Newspaper Group and vice president of the Hearst Corporation. That’s what happened to Bob Danzig as a result of having a champion. (INCLUDES A CD OF RELAXATION MUSIC)
