Virtual Parent Group – Children 10-12 January 29, 2024
Monthly virtual parent group for parents of tween adoptees hosted by Olivia Hornik, Social Work intern at Spence-Chapin.
This group will meet once monthly for parents of adopted children 10-12 years old. In this space, parents have an opportunity to share about things they are navigating at home and within their family, while growing community with other families who “just get it”. In this group we will discuss topics such as talking about adoption with your child, advocating for your child, transitions into higher education and professional fields, relationships and more.
Fee is $30 per family, per session for those not already enrolled in Community Programming. For more information about these groups, please email community@spence-chapin.org
