Lauren Marcus, Social Worker at Children’s Specialized Care will discuss Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome NOWS for infants who have been exposed to opioids during pregnancy. The seminar will provide important information for adoptive parents on the symptoms of opioid withdrawal and treatment options and strategies available to the baby and the adoptive parents. The presenter will host a question-and-answer session for the adoptive parents after the presentation.
