The North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC) is working with Children Need Amazing Parents (CHAMPS), a national campaign to ensure bright futures for kids in foster care by promoting the highest quality parenting. Our goal is to help foster/adoptive/kinship parents make policy changes in your state. in this workshop, we will review the CHAMPS policy goals and discuss working with legislators, executive branch officials, and the media. You’ll earn how to advocate for policy reforms.
