Healing takes place with the people you spend the most time with. Clinical intervention and guidance is greatly beneficial when people suffer from ongoing trauma-related challenges. However, depending on the clinical community alone to provide the space and resources necessary for healing is unrealistic. Multiple doses of positive interactions across many different relationships is the best way to support and sustain healing after trauma.
