Making the Most of Change: Help youth make successful transitions using teen-written stories November 14, 2019

Print Friendly

In this one-hour interactive webinar, participants will learn how to use teen-written stories to prepare young adults for the social and emotional challenges they will encounter as they transition to high school, college, and career.

Learn about Youth Communication’s unique story-based approach that inspires meaningful discussion about how youth use SEL skills as a tool for long-term success and fulfillment.

Interactive: Webinar participants will practice story-based, engaging activities, and will practice identifying the SEL skills demonstrated by the writers as they manage new social and peer challenges, unfamiliar school environments, the demands of newfound independence, and their sense of self-confidence. Strong social and emotional competencies like resilience and communication skills will prepare them to navigate these struggles.

This webinar is ideal for middle and high school educators, counselors, advisors, mentors, afterschool staff, professional development coordinators, school principals, and other professionals who work with adolescents.

Registration is free.
