Attachment Based Parenting Approaches in Adoption March 23, 2026

Print Friendly

$60.00 | 3.0 CE hours, Clinical

In this interactive and clinical webinar, participants will explore how missing and disrupted attachments impact adopted children’s behaviors. Participants will identify symptoms of impaired attachment and discuss the emotional demands this has on adoptive parents and families. Through case examples and experiential activities, participants will learn strategies to assist parents to strengthen the parent-child relationship and implement parenting techniques that focus on attachment and building trust rather than traditional parenting approaches. Mental health professionals will add to their clinical tool as they learn new techniques that will be effective for foster and adoptive families.[Required for Adoption Certificate Program]

*A link to register with Zoom to get your login information will be emailed the day before the webinar, and again on the morning of the webinar. Please register at least one hour before the webinar starts, so you have time to receive your login.
