An Adoption Professional’s Guide to School-Based Support July 13, 2022

This webinar training will help adoption professionals understand educational options and appropriately prepare and support parents who are navigating school-based support. Speakers will focus on common school related behavioral challenges and diagnoses that can impact school functioning. We will also highlight interventions for a child’s success, with a focus on adoption-competent assessment, parental support and the importance of trauma-informed teachers.

This FREE live webinar is sponsored by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and will provide 1 CE credit for social workers. For social workers licensed in the state of New York, it will provide 1 contact hour.
