For adoptive parents considering adopting a non newborn, including toddlers and school age children, this ed series class will explore issues specific to older children including replacement visits, medical history, daycare and school enrollment, preparing the child to transition into the adoptive family, as well as the open adoption relationship with the birth family. Adoptive parents who have been placed with an older child will share their experiences and answer questions from attendees.
