Canada: Board approves merger of child protection services (Includes video)

An agreement to merge child protection services in Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk has been approved by both boards involved and is now in the hands of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. The proposal now rests with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and must be submitted to the Ontario Public Guardian and Trustee, and Service Ontario for final government approvals. If approved, the amalgamation will take effect April 1, 2022.
