US: Proposed Biden administration rule would keep families safely together

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), announced a proposed regulation that would lessen obstacles in licensing standards for kinship foster caregivers. The proposed rule aligns with President Joe Biden’s priorities on providing necessary resources to keep families together and support adoption when necessary by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and kin.
