US: Migrant Families in Limbo as Trump Misses First Reunification Deadline (Includes audio)
WNYC – July 10, 2018
The Trump Administration said at least 38 of about 100 migrant children under the age of five, who were separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border, will be reunited with them by Tuesday night. A federal judge in California ordered the reunification. But the fate of other families is still in limbo, as the government continues to work through a backlog of background checks for some parents.
