Spain: Ceuta: Spanish Child Protection Services Return 30 Minors to Morocco

The Spanish child protection agency operating in the city of Ceuta has convinced 30 unaccompanied Moroccan minors to return to Morocco while placing 38 in the La Esperanza shelter. In a report sharing official data on the number of unaccompanied minors living on the streets of Ceuta, the city’s government has said that it has managed to save 30% of the 229 unaccompanied foreign minors (MENA) from the streets. The percentage represents 68 minors.
